About Us NST Foods UK was founded during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, with "NST " representing the initials of our three children: Nicholas , Stephanie , and Taylor . During the pandemic, we found ourselves unable to travel to Myanmar or enjoy the traditional foods and groceries we cherished. This inspired us to start a business dedicated to bringing authentic Myanmar products to those living abroad, particularly in the UK and Europe. Originating from Myeik, Tanintharyi, Myanmar, we initially focused on offering distinctive products from Myeik and Shan State to cater to the Myanmar community in the UK and Europe. Recognizing how much our community longed for the flavors of home, we made it our mission to provide authentic Myanmar foods and groceries, imported directly from Myanmar. What began as a small operation on a Facebook page quickly grew, prompting us to launch an online store to offer a broader range of products and improve accessibility for our customers. In response to increasing demand, we introduced the Myanmar-to-UK/EU Parcel Service, which allows people to send goods swiftly and reliably from Myanmar to the UK and Europe. This service has been warmly embraced, especially by those wishing to send personal items or gifts to loved ones abroad. Thanks to the incredible support of our customers, NST Foods UK has grown from a small family business into a company that serves not only the Myanmar community but also a diverse range of customers worldwide. With daily flight, most parcels are delivered within 5-7 working days, depending on customs clearance. Our services include convenient pick-up options in Yangon for an additional fee, as well as parcel delivery via express bus stations for customers outside of Yangon. UK customers can benefit from affordable postage rates, and we also offer free parcel collection from our Hounslow location. We cater to both individual parcels and bulk shipments, providing flexible solutions for various shipping needs. Parcels can be easily dropped off at our office in Yangon, or you can arrange for pick-up for a nominal fee. Please ensure that food items containing oil or liquids are securely packaged to prevent leaks. We are not liable for damage to fragile or breakable items during transit. What compensation do you offer for lost items? In the unfortunate event of loss during transit, we provide compensation at a rate of 20,000 MMK per kilogram, in addition to shipping costs. Are there any prohibited items? Yes, the following items are prohibited: Meat Products, Seeds, fresh fruits and vegetables, strongly scented foods, and perishable food items Alcohol, illegal drugs, cigarettes, tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, e-hookahs, vape pens, and any medicines Cash, gold, jewellery, high-value items, genuine or synthetic gemstones, and antiques Weapons and items prohibited by law SIM cards, bank cards, items containing batteries, perfumes, nail polish, counterfeit branded items, and items containing gas It is strictly prohibited to ship items that are restricted or banned by law or customs regulations. If you are found to have sent prohibited items, you will be charged £300, and the items will be confiscated and destroyed by customs. No compensation will be provided for the loss of such items.
